We may use your contact information to communicate to you regarding your purchase and to offer you additional products that will support your Heartsafe environment. If you would like to receive our newsletter, your email contact information will be used to distribute our newsletter to you and only for that purpose. We will not spam you.
Credit card policy: We accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover, payable in US funds. Cardiac Life Products, Inc. will appear on your credit card against the charge for merchandise. The credit card information that you provide to us will be verified before shipment is made. Please do not attempt to use stolen credit card data with our company. We will present stolen credit card information to the authorities for prosecution.
Company Policy: Our mission is to provide you with products which can assist in saving a life. We strive for the highest standards in customer service and product quality. If at any time you feel dissatisfied with the quality of service you have received or the quality of the product we have provided, we ask that you contact us immediately for a resolution.
Sales Tax: If required by law, CLP will add sales tax to the order when it is processed. Applicable sales tax will be charged on all orders to be delivered in the State of New York. If you are TAX-EXEMPT, we can accept a valid tax exempt certificate by fax (585-267-5218) or by email. Please contact us with questions on Tax Exemption.
New York State Tax Credit: A New York state credit is available against any NYS tax liability in the tax year of purchase. Click here more information on the stipulations of the NYS tax credit.
Medical Prescription: An AED is a medical device which requires a prescription. Our medical director will provide the prescription, but you must have a medical director for your collaborative agreement and notice of intent. If you do not have a medical director, please contact us and we will work with you to provide you with that service and assistance in preparing and filing your paperwork in New York State, or the state in which you will be using the Life Saving AED. All Public Access Defibrillation sites require paperwork. Please contact us to answer any questions that you may have regarding PAD site regulations. If you do not notify us that you need assistance with a medical director, you are indicating that you have and will take care of the necessary state regulations.
Shipping: Shipping will be made by best carrier to provide you the most timely delivery. If you have a specific preference on shipping, please contact customer service and discuss your specific needs. From time to time products are on back order. CLP does its best to ship product as soon as available. If you need a specific delivery date, please communicate this directly with customer service.
Refused Shipment: Customers shall be charged all shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee for any refused shipments. This covers the cost to receive and inspect all returned items.
Product Return Policy: Stock Product that is not dated can be returned unopened and in its original packaging for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, minus the cost of shipping. An RMA is required in order for product to be received back into stock. Please contact customer service for an RMA and return instructions;
- Damaged product may not be returned. If damaged during shipping, a claim must be made against the shipper *
- Dated product which is returned will be pro-rated in the credit
- Custom ordered product is not returnable unless defective
- Defective product will be repaired or replaced with like after inspection for the defect. Product taken back on return that is deemed to be defective product will not be pro-rated.
* Damaged Shipments: Cardiac Life Products is not liable for damage or loss of merchandise after it leaves our premises. If shipment shows evidence of damage, the package must be opened before signing the delivery receipt. If damage or loss is evident, it must be noted on the carriers' delivery sheet. Then file a claim with the carrier and notify customer service.
Order Mistakes By Us: Call us immediately at 866-710-1970 with a description of the issue and we will promptly correct it.
LIMITATION OR LIABILITY: Cardiac Life Products, Inc. shall not be liable for any loss, claim or damage caused by, contributed to or arising out of the acts or omissions of Buyer or third parties, whether negligent or otherwise. In no event shall CLP’s liability for any cause of action whatsoever exceed the cost of the item giving rise to the claim, whether based in contract, warranty, indemnity or tort (including negligence).
Cardiac Science AEDs, under warranty, are indemnified under the Cardiac Science indemnification policy which is very comprehensive. Please contact Customer Service with any questions on indemnification.
