NYS Public Health Law 3000B
July 2007
NYS public health law 3000b added a section requiring signs to be placed at the entrance/s of building housing an AED unit. This law goes into effect November 15, 2007.

NYS Public Health Law: Good Samaritan Law
ยง 3000-a. Emergency medical treatment.
Excludes anyone who offers first aid assistance to an individual under duress from being sued for such actions in the event the individual in need of assistance passes away or never recovers.
